Things are going well for our new family of four. I have to say that I am very much enjoying being the mom of 2. Yes it is more work, but I truly believe that my heart has grown with the birth of each. Grayson has had to undergo some tests this month at the local hospital(s) (poor little guy :( )as there has been some concern over the health of his kidneys (first discovered during pregnancy). The tests have shown that his kidneys appear to be functioning normally and he will have anther test at 6 months of age to confirm this, but we are confident all is well. Both my mom and Stacy traveled to Boise this January to meet Grayson and spend some quality time with Chase. Unfortunately for them, January is not the best time to visit (unless you intend to ski) as they experienced cloudy skies and snow. We had a wonderful time though while they were here and truly appreciated the help! I have to say that now that they are gone, I am realizing how house-bound I am. For as much as I am enjoying my time with my boys, I am starting to get sick of being indoors. It is really too cold to do anything outside with the baby and I don't want to needlessly spend money by going to too many stores. I have also started to take note of all the things in the house that need to be fixed. Dave has not appreciated my reporting out to him on these items over dinner. :) Thus, I have decided to call a handyman. Despite being house-bound, my days still seem to be rather full (I guess thats what happens when you are the sole food source for someone) and very enjoyable. I am truly loving getting to spend quality time my boys!
